Lot’s Wife
Lot's Wife is a musical recording project conceived in Nashville Tn in 2015 and is fronted by Norman F Rau, ASCAP songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, harpist, producer, arranger and engineer whose previous work was as a guitarist in the Industrial music pioneer band, Dessau. .Dessau had multiple records out on labels such as Carlyle, Fifth Column, Mausoleum (RCA) and Wax Trax II and scored a college radio hit with a remake of Joy Divisions "Isolation" which was featured on MTV's Cutting Edge series and was featured on several compilation discs in the Goth and Industrial genre. Dessau toured the US and Canada in support of these records eventually ending it's run in the late 90's. Rau is a native of Detroit Michigan.
Louisville native Jim Dant is a renowned Nashville session drummer who, following a long stint with the Billy Cox Band, took residence in Jack Clement Recording Studio as house session drummer working with the likes of Johnny Cash, Charley Pride and Ray Stevens to name a few.
Bassist Mike Bruno is a native of Pittsburgh Pa. and is multi instrumentalist as well as an engineer and film score contributor for Independent films such as "Golden Opportunity', "Further Down The Road" and the Celtic Storm film U.K. "Undead" a film which features "Alchemy" the first track off of Lot's Wife's debut album in it's closing credits.
Lot's Wife's self titled, debut CD was released in 2019 and consisted of 9 tracks.
Lot's Wife has released 8 singles since 2021 and have more releases slated for 2025.
